When the time came for Gary to exit his career in a band with his brothers, he decided to transition to the more consultative side of music and entertainment.
Our family and friends in music kept us close to the industry as our careers moved into coaching and psychology. We took our collective experiences from working in and out of music and entertainment as the starting point for Grant Searchlight.

The sessions helped me get much clearer on my direction and turn the ideas I had into a practical plan. I committed to the musical direction I wanted to build, let go of things that were diluting it, and came away with a clear 90-day roadmap, a content and release strategy and deadlines to work towards.
I now have practical tools and a much clearer structure for turning what I want to do into action.
They helped me reconnect with the part of me that started creating music in the first place
I joined Reset at a point where I was seriously questioning whether I even wanted to keep doing music anymore. From the outside, it probably looked like I was still pushing forward, releasing music, posting online, trying to stay consistent, but internally I felt completely disconnected from myself as an artist.
The Reset helped me reconnect with the part of me that started making music in the first place. It gave me clarity around my identity, and I feel more confident in my direction. For the first time in a long time, music feels like mine again. More importantly I now have a clear release plan and know how to connect with my audience.

Before starting with Grant Searchlight, I felt confused, frustrated, deflated and lacking confidence in my career and my journey. I felt like my career wasn’t moving forward and I had no idea what to do to change that.
Then I met the powerhouse that is Gary and Claudia! They were kind, patient and encouraging, but also incredibly disciplined throughout the course, the perfect balance.
And the changes I’ve seen in my career in just three months have been incredible. I’ve written a play and produced a rehearsed reading of it, improved my communication with my agent, received more auditions and made new connections within the industry. All of this has happened in the space of three months!
